Man-of-honor

I know it's too late for me to find a maid-of-honor. My wedding is less than a year from now!

This is a conversation with my Mom:

Mommy: Sino maid-of-honor mo?
Me: Wala. Wala naman akong best friend e.
Mommy: Si Von.
Me: Di naman pwedeng lalaki.
Mommy: Lagyan mo ng wig *Laughs out loud*
Me: Nyek.
Mommy: *Still laughing* Naiimagine ko si Von naka-wig.

Is it possible to have a man-of-honor instead of the traditional maid-of-honor?

Ever since Day 1, Von has really been supportive of our relationship. I even think that if it wasn't for Von, I wouldn't even be with Gary. He was the first to know that I was dating Gary. Our conversation went something like this:

Von: Ay nagde-date na pala kayo ni Kuya Gary.
Me: Pano mo nasabing date?
Von: Syempre pag isang labas pa lang, nilibre ka lang nya nun. One time lang. Pero pag may kasunod, date na yun.
Me: Eh, parang ayoko rin naman sakanya. (Pa-simple effect pero I really like him)
Von: Bakit naman? Lagi nga kayo magkatext.
Me: Eh kasi ang gaspang ng mukha nya.
Von: Sa umpisa lang yun. Malay mo naman.

He has been our chaperon everytime we went out, our official third wheel and photographer. We wouldn't be allowed to go out without him. He was even there when we officially became a couple.

Hi Von, matagal na rin naman tayong friends divuhh, saka gusto mo naman si Gary para sakin, at alam mo na lahat ng secret ko, pwede ka bang maging man-of-horror? Sana matouch ka dito sa pictures natin together.

Ang payat ng pezlak ko jan.
