How-to: DIY Save-the-Date/Monogram Done in 5 minutes

Hello! I just wanted to share how easy-peasy it is to DIY a monogram. This isn't our final monogram yet, I just wanted to show you how I'll make one. Haha!

What you need:

1. A picture with your preferred border/background, for mine, I used this:
2. Picasa
3. Font (I used Soymilk)
4. Inspiration :)

Step 1: Open the picture of your border using Picasa.
Step 2: Crop the picture if you want to (had to crop mine because of the white empty space at the top)

Step 3: Insert text.

Step 4: Change the font to your desired style and color. To change the color of the font, I used the color dropper tool, and pointed at that cute pink tulip using the color dropper

Step 5: Resize and rotate as preferred!
Step 6. You can leave it at that (picture above). But I decided to add our wedding date as well by repeating steps 3, 4, 5. Press Ctrl + S and you're done!!! :)

Wedding board # 1

Hi girls (and guys)! How's your day? I hope you're safe and dry.

I want to come up with a wedding board, a complete one, yet I only came up with this one. This is just for me. I hope I'll be able to come up with another wedding board next time.

Everything is so dreamy, right? But I'm not sure about the shoes, yet. Suggestions, please?

Happy bride in wonderland!

Hi, I'm back to blogging!

We've finally decided to have a garden wedding. The beach wedding was scrapped due to logistical reasons, ie. travel charges=$$$$$.

And since we all know how important friends and families are, we thought everybody would be happier with having our wedding here in QC.

A garden party wouldn't be complete without tea. We'd be having a whimsical, Alice-in-wonderland, pastel-colored wedding!

Hence, I am a happy bride in wonderland!

Also, please note the change in my URL. The Happy Bride was already taken by somebody else in blogspot (Grr, she's too lazy to post naman!), so I changed the last letter to a number. 3 is a central number in our relationship. Our monthsary is 30, and our wedding date would be on 2013. <3 I'm rambling on and on.

Anyway, please make it a habit to visit TheHappyBrid3!

Love,

Ivy
